CROW ISLAND PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME

Dear Crow Island Families,

I am thrilled to be joining the Crow Island community as your new principal. It is a true honor to step into this role at such a remarkable school, and I am eager to get to know you and your children in the months ahead.

I have dedicated the past 13 years to education, with the last five as Assistant Principal in Chicago Public Schools. I am passionate about building strong relationships, listening with intention, and creating a school environment where every student is supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Crow Island is a very special place, serving kindergarten through fourth grade students who engage in a rich progressive educational curriculum and experiences. Our school is also recognized for its unique and innovative design. In 1990, the building received National Landmark status, acknowledged as a lighthouse in school design. These elements—progressive education, historic architecture, and deep community roots—are what make Crow Island truly exceptional.

I am so excited to learn more about what makes this school such a beloved part of the Winnetka community. I look forward to partnering with all of you to continue the incredible learning and growth happening here every day.
